Thursday I was victim of a smash and grab of my laptop...smashed the front passenger glass and swiped my machine with all my "stuff"... pi$$ed as hell but at least no one was hurt.

A spur of the moment decision led to my loss... decided to just run into the grocery for two minutes... that's all the time the opportunists needed.

I guess it could have been worse... anyway, I won't be able to post as often til I get a replacement.

Well I'm using a borrowed machine for tonight... to answer where in JA this took place I'll tell a story that many Trinis I met at University told me; it irked them that when they told Canadians they were from Trinidad, the response was : "where in Jamaica is that?" well, it happened in Trinidad, Jamaica. Alyce Glen Plaza in Diego Martin to be exact...LOL ...just getting back my sense of humour...still well vex tho'.

Boss these days you can't afford to leave anything of value that can be snatched from your car in a heartbeat. No GPS suction marks on your windshield, nothing of value on your dashboard or in view of a pedestrian. Put all valuables in your trunk prior to heading to your destination. Don't arrive at your destination and then pack valuables in your trunk. A thug the other day saw a suction mark on my windshield and used that as an opportunity to smash my front passenger side window, and from there he ripped open my glove compartment & stole my GPS...
