Jah Cure... arrested for smoking ganja

    1/1

REGGAE singer, Jah Cure, has found himself on the wrong side of the law again.
The singer, whose real name is Sycatore Alcock, was arrested after he was observed by cops in the St Andrew North Police Division smoking a ganja spliff. He was arrested and charged with smoking ganja.
The singer was granted $5,000 station bail and is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Jah Cure served a sentence of nine years in prison after being found guilty of rape.

Isn't it against the law Baddaz? If anything we need to change the law, but the policeman should not be blamed for doing his job. I agree they should decriminalize the possession or use of the stuff in smal quantities, but until the law has changed, the law is the law.

Police have a lot of discretion when it comes to the law. When you drive at 60 mph in a 55 mph zone, the cop could issue a speeding ticket. The cops used this opportunity to harass Jah Cure....
