ENTERTAINER Lewin ‘Louis Culture’ Brown was one of two men shot today in Portland.
Police reports are that Brown, 41, of Windsor Forrest and Anthony Taylor, a tyre shop owner of Priestman’s River, were seated in front of Taylor’s tyre shop in Priestman’s River, Portland around 1:35 pm, when they were shot by a man who had been travelling in a blue Subaru.
According to witnesses, the Subaru drove by the two once, and then returned. A man alighted from the car and walked in the direction of the two men with his hand behind him. He then fired shots.
Brown reportedly ran towards the bridge after he was shot. The gunman escaped.
Both injured men were rushed to the Port Antonio hospital. Taylor was grazed on his right thigh and Brown sustained injuries to his left arm.
Brown was released from police custody last Friday after being questioned in relation to a shooting incident at Hartford in the parish.
The police are keeping a close watch on the situation.
