Last night, the venerable Waldorf-Astoria was the scene of an induction ceremony to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame full of iconic musicians doing what they do best -- singing..

The Manhattan landmark hotel hosted the evening that heralded into the Cleveland, Ohio Museum Jimmy Cliff, ABBA, The Hollies, Genesis, and Iggy Pop.

well deserved ... overdue even. jimmy cliff is a fantastic songwriter. never had the pleasure of seeing him in concert....btw saw steel pulse satday night...david hinds kicking said way...the new drummer...IMPRESSIVE...it takes a lot to fill grizzly's shoes but...job well done!

Just last week end I was listening to his CD called Special...it's a classic!!! (Possibly my favorite of his collection....)
