With the events of the past few days Golding and the JLP have thoroughly & publicly wrapped themselves in a cloak of criminality...for all the world to see.
If as some claim, the recent embarrassment by Golding in Parliament is part of some harebrained scheme (by Golding) to mollify or mislead his Tivoli cronies...then ultimately release the popularly known criminal to the US...the contortions just go to show how thoroughly Golding & the JLP are intertwined & inseparable from criminality.... not that their opponents are much better unfortunately.
After disavowing tribal politics with the NDM and vowing to bring a new approach to our politics... Golding has proved to be a hypocrite & flipflopper of the first order. Not satisfied with merely continuing with tribalism as usual...he has now raised the issue of tribal criminality to a public corruption of Parliament itself as well as exposing Jamaica to international sanctions & disrepute.
A really pathetic state of affairs...the so called Grandmaster has checkmated himself... no matter what he does now he will be vilified by some important sector...crucified in Tivoli or crucified by public opinion & our main trading partner.
He has to choose which fate he can best live with.
