    American Airlines Fly Way from Jamaica.

    I heard that AA can't fly over Cuba or any other American carrier, is there any thruth to that?

    I want to know then how come the AA from MBJ on the 29th plot a course that shows it on the monitor going over Cuba?

    American commercial planes can fly over Cuba, but military planes can not. Military planes received permission to fly over Cuba for the Haitian earthquake relief effort.

      I do not know if they can now but in 2000 I was on a plane and the pilot said they couldn't. They simple have to take a longer route.
