Listening to Real Business this morning, one of the presenters fot the up coming forum gave a review of the findings. According to the lady, the growth of the 60s were due to us piggybacking on the expansion of the world economy. I have no problem with that. I believe people should grab opportunites when they present themselves.
I wish I could be present at that forum because I'd have to ask why the world economy grew at about 5% in the 90s and all we did was grow at 0.8%? Why didn't they piggyback off the world's economy too?
