“Hold On (A Tribute to Bianca)” by Neutral Sister is a pleasant reggae number (reminiscent of current stuff by Jamaicans like D’aville and Alaine), but aside from the rock overdrive/distortion-effect lead guitar, there’s really nothing about this arrangement that instantly grabs my attention. The words are meaningful though.
By the way, I’ve often wondered why reggae songwriters don’t use bridges in their compositions more often (not referring to this, as the deejaying interlude by Mr. Blacc Sheep part can be seen as an effective bridge of sorts).
