  • The Education of Karl..

"As noted, one of the casualties of the 1990's was the Jamaican banking sector, due in part to internal mismanagement and poor investment decisions, and in part due to an exceptionally harsh macroeconomic policy environment, which saw virtuially all of the banks failing in the midst of a financial sector crisis which began in 1996. Jamaica's financial sector crisis is proportionally one of the costliest in the world, costing more than ten times that of the Mexican "Tequila Crisis" of 1994-1995, in terms of the amount the government had to pull out to prevent widespread bank closures and stabilize the banking system"

Karl of course thinks that the fact that two costliest economic hits on Jamaica in its history have occurred under the PNP Administration is a mere coincidence.. it is the damn private sector conspiring under PNP rule to destabilize the country, the 21 Families cleverly manipulating events to maintain control over the Children of a Lesser God...

Karl you must understand what your party stands for and why it has served a key role in the economic demise of this Country...

Profundity and "Good Intentions"....experimentation and youthful exuberance..

It is getting tyad now Karl and it has caused tremendous suffering.. talk tuh dem...

karl yuh right about the practices up until 1996 BUT it spiralled out of control because of the heavy handed way omar dealt with it...here we are 13 years later and the economy STILL has not recovered....no doubt there were problems...that could have and should have been dealt with differently. i believe that at various times omar has admitted as much...

I'll agree that for each Finance Minister and the attendant ruling party is - "we are, where we are". So it is the then incumbent that should have had us on a 'proper' course, who missed opportunities and thus must take the licks.

It is Audley "Man-a-'Yard" Shaw's and the JLP's time - 2007 through now!

                Spin?

                Why would I spin?

The facts speak...matters not the half-truths or plain utterances without a scrap of evidence to support them!

What was it you said about the demise of small businesses during the last PNP rule?

Wiped out?! ...smaller numbers coming on stream than ever in our history?
                ...either statement is nonsense!

...and the other vast multitude of unsupported spouting by you?
                Devoid of supporting facts!
