On Friday I was in Trelawny and the car in which I was a passenger was stopped by police for a spot check.
The policeman who was very professional asked both passengers myself and one of the most easily recognised females in Jamaica to step out of the vehicle. I was laughing under my breath cause I was sure the minute he saw who the female was he would wave us on after asking for an autograph or even a photo with her.
I was surprised as the policemen looked at me and asked "you are from MoBay right?" I said yes and he went on inspecting the documnets the driver gave him.
Even when the driver of another vehicle who was being given a ticket and other passengers started to wave to the female and call out her name, the cop hardly looked in her direction and after seeing that the papers were in order, thanked us and allowed us to go.
Maybe we misunderestimate the police here and is just Mosiah who fighting against the law as they are not star struck like others and treat every one the same.
