The Prime Minister has announced that the Government will be reviewing the contracts of all employees earning more than $10 million per year.
Mr. Golding said the decision follows the revelations in respect of the controversial contract that was linked with the former central bank governor.
Based on the terms of that contract, Derick Latibeaudiere was earning a basic salary of $14 million a year.
However, he was also earning more than $10 million in rental allowance, and just over $13 million to maintain the house.
This pushed the Governor’s annual salary package to $38 million a year.
Mr. Golding said the government wants to ensure that there are no similar arrangements in the public sector.
