HERE IS ANOTHER ONE FROM A BOSTON PROMOTOR THAT BOOKED AND PAY FOR TWO BACK TO BACK SHOW WITH GYPTIAN WHERE HI DID NOT SHOW UP,AS FOR THE HARTFORD CONN SHOW GYPTIAN CALL US ABOUT 4.00PM ON THURSDAY OCT 22ND THE DAY OF SHOW SAYING THAT HE IS AT THE AIRPORT IN JAMAICA GOING ON THE FLIGHT AND WE MUST NOT PICK HIM UP IN NEW YORK,HIS MANAGER PETER WILL DO THAT AND DRIVE HIM TO CONN AND BOSTON THE NEXT DAY WE SHOLD GET THE ROOMS READY,THATS THE LAST TIME WE HERD FROM GYPTIAN UNTIL 9.00PM THAT NITE
WE WAS AT THE VENUE LOTS OF PEOPLE START COMEING IN,WE GET A CALL FROM (GYPTIAN) SAYING HE WAS AT THE AIRPORT IN NEW YORK AND CUSTOM STOP HIM SAYING HE HAD A RED FLAG BY HIS NAME,THEY SENDING HIM BACK TO JAMAICA HE CANT COME TO THE SHOW,I PT MY PHONE ON SPEAKER TO LET A LOT OF PEOPLE HEAR WHAT HE WAS SAYING,SO HE CANT LIE TO ANYONE
I PUT A SIGN UP SO PEOPLE COLD SEE THAT GYPTIAN WAS NOT COMEING ANYMORE,AND ALSO TELL THE FANS AT THE GATE BEFORE THEY PAY SOME DD COME IN AND MOST TURN BACK,I REFUND THE ADVANCE BY $5 OFF TO $10 FROM ADV $15 TO THE ONE THAT WANT TO COME IN AND PARTY AND JUST CHARGE $10 ALL NITE IT WAS A GREAT LOST
THE NEXT DAY GYPTIAN CALL IN ON THE BUSY RADIO STN TELLING THE PEOPLE THEY SEND HIM BACK TO JAMAICA,AND HE SORRY HE COULD NOT COME,AS YOU SEE HERE HE DID NOT SHOW UP IN BOSTON THE NEXT DAY FOR THE BACK TO BACK SOLDOUT SHOWS
WE ASK FOR OR MONEY BACK FROM GYPTIAN AND PETER,THEY WONT ANSWER THEIR PHONES ANYMORE,NOW WE GETTING CALLS FROM PROMOTORS ALL OVER USA THAT BOOKED GYPTIAN TOUR SAYING THAT GYPTIAN AND PETER HIS MANAGER WONT ANSWER THEIR PHONES OR RETURN THEIR CALLS,SO THEY KNOW IF THEY DOING THEIR SHOW OR NOT,A FEW PROMOTORS SAY THEY CALL JAMAICA AND FRIENDS OF (GYPTIAN) SAY THE MONEY/DEPOSIT IS ALREADY USED UP TO SHOOT (GYPTIAN) NEW VIDEO ETC SO HE NOT GONNA DO THE SHOWS

"Reggae artist Windel Edwards aka "Gyptian" and his manager Imran Passard aka "Peter" are now both suspects in what seems to be a major scam in the United States. Several thousand dollars were collected by Gyptian's manager for shows in the United States in which Gyptian the artist never showed up to perform as stated in his contract. After several attempts to reach Gyptian's manager "PETER" of "HUMBLESS ENTERTAINMENT" proved to be unsuccessful, we contacted GYPTIAN by phone. Gyptian was questioned by a radio personality who chose to remain anonymous, why he didn't show up to any of the scheduled events. He began lie, stating that his travel documents were not up to par. The anonymous radio personality then told GYPTIAN to tell the truth and that's when GYPTIAN said "Mr
Imran took deposits on shows on never give me the money". The radio personality then told GYPTIAN to try and work something out with promoters in order to keep his fans happy and save his reputation as an artist, he then replied "I WANT $3000 MORE + 2 TICKETS AND MINE HAS TO BE FIRST CLASS". The radio personality told GYPTIAN that this kind of act could lead up to his work permit in the United States getting revoked and he replied "I DON'T GIVE A F__K, UNITED STATES IS ONLY ONE PART OF THE WORLD, I HAVE PLENTY MONEY". Is this really a scam put together by GYPTIAN'S manager or is it a joint effort to get promoters to pay more money for a GYPTIAN performance? GYPTIAN was scheduled to perform on several shows in Connecticut,Boston, NY and many other states over the next few months, will he ever show up is the question millions of irate fans are asking promoters who are spending thousands of dollars marketing these events. Several promoters have lost thousands due to the fact that GYPTIAN has not been showing up for scheduled events and angry fans are returning pre sold tickets by the hundreds. Is this becoming the norm for international acts is the question lingering on the minds of many. Promoters are now scared to book events with certain artist as unethical acts like this stays on the minds of those affected for a long period of time. As of this moment, legal actions are being taken while attempts to contact GYPTIAN & his manager PETER are no longer successful."
