Whenever i visit several Farmer's Market or even supermarkets, there is a section for caribbean/Jamaican products.
For the most part, the supply-chain for some of these products are very well established.
I see an opportunity for someone to provide quality JAMAICAN sugar-cane, mango,star-apples, yellow-yams, sweet-sop, sour-sop...etc. to these outlets.
EXAMPLE: The Haitian mangoes (which are excellent quality) are sold out as soon as they hit the shelf. The mangoes from Mexico are so...so...
Add some Jamaica varieties of mangoes, sugar-cane ...etc. to the shelf and watch what happens....
(The sugar-cane, mangoes, guineps...that i see (and buy) does not come close to the quality i see in jamaica).
Anyone who is willing to do the work-- to learn the supply-chain systems... and provide Jamaican quality fruits--will make some money.
