i heard a funky fresh tune yesterday on the radio in french st martin..it sounded like something that prince or maxwell would do (with that funky falsetto if that is the right term) all i can remember is the chorus going something like "this is what i gotta, gotta do"...it is not slow...about the tempo of "hey mr dj" by zhane.

i don't know if it is old or recent...i know the odds are slim but it's worth a shot...does it ring a bell with anyone? any kinda clue no matter how insignificant is worth pursuing.

Maxwell have a new CD getting good review so it is more than likely him.
I have only heard one song from the CD myself. He sounds good and mature.
