She also brought much joy to our teenage years. That poster did it all!
Her death will no doubt be overshadowed by Michael Jackson's.
Mosiah, you sure got that right! Based on the mass media response, one would think that Farrah Fawcett Major spent the past several days at her home relaxing and watching television! My goodness!
In a rather crude way, though, one could say that poor Farrah chose the wrong day on which to die!! This sounds harsh, but I’m going to say it nevertheless: Of the several hundred days in the year, she ended up dying on Thursday, June 25, the same day as the iconic Michael Jackson!
I guess there will be a more comprehensive coverage of her funeral. But the media response (both American and international) to her death was completely overshadowed by Michael’s passing.

Well, to be fair gentlemen, wasn't Farrah's passing expected? Afterall, she has been ill for a while and we all heard that it was a matter of time. MJ's passing was and still is a shock.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)
About 3 months ago, I had read something off the Internet that MJ was close to death. But, since it had to do with MJ, I took it as an idle rumour. I bet to insiders MJ's death was not really a shocker.
