ok...seem you want it both ways.
because some railroad systems of the world may not be profitable-- does not mean Jamaica cannot be the exception...
One major advantage of having a railroad system is: the need for those big trucks on the road would be reduced. Those bigs truck does a helluva lotta damage to the road......they cause traffic congestion.
I was going to mention that he railroad system could be used (also) to transport tourist. On second thought, i can jusss imagine the hassle the poor tourist would get from higglers selling sky juice, prap korn and ganja....
but a railroad system would be good for jamaica. It's just that the local brains do not have the will.
