PNP and JLP claim credit for water project in St. Catherine Saturday, 30 May 2009 As the contest for the North East St. Catherine seat intensifies a war of words as erupted between the two political parties over a recent water project in the constituency.
On Friday opposition leader Portia Simpson Miller while touring the area said that the Redwood water project that was commissioned on May 14, which former Member of Parliament Gregory Mair is taking credit for, was the brainchild of the People's National Party administration.
However Mr. Mair says the water system is just one of several of his accomplishment in the constituency.
