My advise once again, follow a research, analysis, conclusion approach. Do not start with a conclusion and then seek to defend.. that forces poor argument technique like hyperbole.

You are a riot... this "new" plan is all of 3 days old in terms of its announcement... with a genesis of 2005.

More proof for my thesis: This regime has had precious few, new or innovative initiatives since assuming power... merely a continuation of what went on before.
That means they either are validating the prior regime's policy approaches... or are themselves bankrupt of ideas.

Either way... we can reasonably expect the same poor performance as under the PNP.... because similar policies are being pursued by similar UWI grads... it's not rocket science.

The JLP ran on a platform of new ideas... using borrowed plans from your adversary doesn't jive with that stance... unless they have no ideas of their own.

What's new about Obama's energy plan? ... how about the entire focus of the plan. It's a virtual revolution in policy. You seem unaware of what obtained before.

His education reform is yet to be revealed in full.. we'll await that. But it certainly won't take 2 years or be identical to what came before.

I thought a critical problem with Jamaica was throwing away good plans every 5 years ? This seems like a very refreshing change. Looking at what good plans exist, tweaking where neccessary and actually implementing. There were quite a few bad plans that were killed and there a quite a few new plans being introduced. If you were REALLY interested in the facts you would seek them.. but that is not your mandate as the resident heckler.. we understand.

Using existing 'good plans' is not an indication you have no plans of your own.. poor reasoning on your part.

Speaking of revolution in policy.. you seem unaware of policy changes currently occuring under the JLP.. either that or they do not fit your 'revolutionary' criteria.. you it appears seem unware of what obtained before.. or is it you only follow US History.. LOL !

Wrong. Lack of plans is not really Jamaica's core problem... it's a lack of social cohesion. Your so called facts are flawed.. and your logic obviously follows.
However as far as plans are concerned the JLP ran on a platform of new ideas... to date we have not seen much evidence.... very disappointing.

You need to wheel and come again.... the country continues to go down the toilet under this regime... we need some statesmanship and innovative leadership.... it's not too late for the JLP to change course... but I doubt it will happen.

I recognize that the time the regime has been in power is relatively short so the fault I find is not so much based on production data as on trend lines and the absence of innovation.
The lack of urgency and the lack of creativity in policymaking manifested by the GOJ is very concerning... and to me does not bode well for success.

With the absence of significant policy changes (especially social policy) it is logical to expect continued poor results.... I hope they prove me wrong.
