WTMJ TV, (Channel 4, Milwaukee) did a story about how pedophiles, using a wireless laptop computer, cruise neighborhoods looking for unsecured, unencrypted wireless connections, then use those connections to download or trade child pornography.
These transactions could then be traced to the legitimate owner of the connection, who could then face a nasty confrontation with the police, believing he/she deals in child pornography.
