  • Enough with the fancy speeches, Driva!

It's all well and good to have some memorable quotes in one's speech, but, where is the action?

Why has the govt. politicised Labour Day by choosing official Labour Day projects in key JLP constituencies? Wasn't it enough when they, quite arbitrarily, chose West Portland for last year's project?

Then the new security minister is talking about a civilian police force. Hmmm, where have I heard that before? Oh yes! Peter Phillips had suggested it when he was the minister in charge of security. Of course, the then opposition shot it down, bringing up old talk about brigadistas.

As for the police, I am wondering what would be Lazie position if this contracted, agreed to, promised raise was denied by the previous govt.

Is Derrick Kellier an MP for a key JLP constituency? Once again you've perfected the art of putting your foot in your mouth.

      • Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.

civillian police force a foolishness. It never work.

From District constable to Home guard.

It better if them have community policing where the communities work with the police force and protect their interest.

I hope the security minister don't waste his time.

Civillian a civillian and police a police.

Fine! But let's stop shooting down ideas just to score some political points and enter into some mature discussions about it.

Not sure I would ditch the civilian police idea so quickly.

When it comes to policies I am pretty consistent.

It nuh matter what party I support if I think the idea is bad I will say so.

I was for free education in the 70. Americans need to look at health statistics around the world and stop thinking they have the best health system and too many Jamaicans want to copy the American one.

I didn't support the idea of civillian police when Peter Phillips bring it up and I won't support it now. We will be wasting too many dollars. If the government want do something they allow communities to get grants if they design a proper protection plan and work with the police. I didn't support the book tax but I supported the computer tax from begining.

There are some things that I just don't support PNP or JLP.
