  • Wanted man caught with ganja

    Wednesday, 08 April 2009

A man identified as one of St. James' most wanted is now behind bars.

He is Nicoy Brown, 26, of Canterbury in the parish.

Mr. Brown has been linked to several killings and shootings in St. James which has recorded more than 50 murders since January.

He was picked up on Monday during a spot check in Montego Bay.

Mr. Brown was allegedly found with a pound of ganja and later taken to a police station for questioning.

While he was being interviewed it was discovered that he was listed among the parish's 10 most wanted men.

Mr. Brown is scheduled to face an identification parade.
