The Chicago Olympic Organizing Committee unveiled its plans in hopes of landing the 2016 Olympics.
According to the committee, the cost is estimated at USD $3 billion with a projected revenue of USD $3.8 billion.
Of the other three cities bidding for the 2016 Olympics, Madrid estimates its cost at USD $2.6 billion, and Tokyo's cost will be $2.86 billion. Rio De Janeiro will announce its plans on Monday.
Olympic soccer matches will be held in Pasadena, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Washington DC, and the New Jersey Meadowlands.
