    Don 1,

Looking to you as the sugar man I have a few questions, tough ones so I don't necessarily expect you to know all the answers but it makes for good fundamental discussion.

What quantity of ethanol is equal to a barrel of oil in terms of its energy creating capability is it one to one or is it 10 barrels of ethanol equal one barrel of crude.

This lead to the other question at Jamaica's peak sugar cane production whenever that was probably pre 1970 for sure, how much ethanol could we produce if we producedat that rate again and put all of that to ethanol production and how much barrels of oil or what % of our current demand could we reduce from current consumption level.

Finally what would be the cost of producing one barrel of ethanol vs the price that we could sell it for on the world market just to understand the potential profit that could be made from such a venture.
