what da hell is mas anyways? mas camp? man u livin in a dream world. dont think a lie we a tell when we say 3 quarters of jamaica dont know crap about soca and dont care to find out. come ja and ask about soca and u'll see. jus ask random ppl on the road(young people, of my generation) to name a soca artiste and you'll see the response. yute it goin oppossite of what u think. it's evapourated. it done. back in the days inna dancehall(when i was a likkle juvie) soca used to have it own segment at dance. dat change now. soca absent now or jus get throw in di hip hop segment. and is only "roll it gyal" and "turn me on" play. mi nuh have nuttin else fi say to you fi open you eye mi don. soca soon even done for in the smaller islands. bahamas nuh play nuh soca at all. not to mention bermuda. all guyana and dem place deh soca a fizzle out.

u right. i wont dance at any event where mi affi wear tights. mi dagger di girl dem a dancehall, where mi can where mi jeans pants and keep mi pride and dignity.

and wtf? yute, is like u nah understand. carnival last year flop!! dem videos u post are proof. when mi was likkle carnival used to ram pack! almost the whole jamaica used to come kingston carnival and who cant mek it keep dem own carnival. besides, mi say soca music done fah. dem ppl deh inna di video u post still nuh know no new soca artiste. there are no jamaican soca mix cds. no soca song no go pon black chiney or cash money mix cds. bway, mi nuh know wha else fi tell u fi prove it to rhatid. and why dont u post a video of say, a beenieman performing or a kartel performing. matter of fact, since u post the biggest soca event in ja(which flop by the way), let me post the biggest dancehall event...........

                                argument done now?

soca music will NEVER again be significant in JA. soca's golden era in ja ended with byron lee's retirement.
