Bustamante Hospital gets $27 million from Shaggy concert

The Bustamante Hospital for Children is 27 million dollars richer.

This from proceeds collected from the "Shaggy and Friends concert" which was staged at Jamaica House last Saturday.

The money will go towards upgrading the hospital, which is the only of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean.

The tickets for the event were sold in blocks of 5, 10 and 20 thousand dollars.

Money was also raised from an on site auction and dinner.
