Movado under probe following comments at Sting Wednesday, 31 December 2008 Dance hall artiste David Brooks more popularly known as Mavado could find himself in additional trouble with the law over comments he allegedly made about the police at the recently held entertainment show "Sting".
Our News centre understands that the entertainer reportedly made comments about a shooting incident involving members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force which occurred in the Cassava Piece community.
A police source told our news centre that the police are reviewing a section of the video footage from the show before making their next move.
Wednesday morning the St. Catherine South Police confirmed that they are in the process of laying charges against Mavado and Vybz Kartel for using indecent language at last week's 'Sting' show.
A police source told our news centre that summonses are being prepared and will be served on the two entertainers shortly.
They will be charged with breaches of the Town and Communities Act.
The police say the two were not held and charged following their performances early Saturday morning. -
