Liberalise gun laws



It is quite alarming the rising murder rate that the country has been experiencing over the last 20 years. Governments over this period have given very little assurance to the population that they know how to tackle the problem. Despite their best intentions and the numerous high-level police units put in place ... we have not had many successes.

Needed stats to support the 'safer with more guns' approach?

e.g. In countries with low crime rates...gun crime rates:
Percentage gun crimes rural; city...inner city.
...when compared to those same percentages type comparison in a "less guns state"?

...btw - that Florida stat mentioned, how does it fit within the reality that most Floridian homes have no gun?

What %age of homes...and or Floridians have a gun or guns?
