WINDSOR LOCKS
Wild sex at a recent "swingers night" at the Beverly Hills Suites bar has spawned the arrest of a fourth person.
Lisette Maulucci, 36, of Simsbury is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Enfield this month after her weekend arrest on charges of obscenity and public indecency, Capt. Chester DeGray said this morning. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Enfield on Dec. 23.
Maulucci is married to Nicholas Maulucci, the event's organizer. Nicholas Maulucci, manager of Hot Couples Parties LLC in Simsbury, was arrested on the same charges last week. He is a correction officer assigned to the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield.
Sharok Jacobi, 46, of Great Neck, N.Y., the owner of the Beverly Hills Suites, and Brian B. True, 42, of Granby, the licensed permittee of the bar, Club 91, were charged with accessory to obscenity and public indecency.
The arrests followed a November visit by undercover town police and state liquor control agents. They found some of the swingers engaging in oral sex and intercourse in the bar.
Had the sexual activity -- which was between consenting adults -- occurred in a hotel room, it would have been legal, police Capt. Chester DeGray said Wednesday morning. Even thought the bar was closed to the public during the event, it is considered a public place because it has a liquor permit, he said.
