KELLY'S WORLD - Deck the halls with boughs of ... nookie!

    Published: Monday | December 8, 2008

There are certain times of year when it just seems like a good time to spend some quality time with your significant other.

Getting some 'nookie' is a key ingredient of any relationship. For the uninitiated, nookie is sex, and there are certain times of the year that seem geared towards getting more of it; Christmas being one of them.
It makes sense if you think about it. For instance, the temperature, even though we're in the tropics, does get cooler. And if you live in certain areas, you're going to have to hug up the wifey or girlfriend a little tighter anyway. And that leads to ... uh huh, nookie! Also, the fact that it is the festive season, and we all have something to be happy about, the general feeling is one of positivity and good vibes. And that can lead to ... yep, nookie! Or, how about this?

    Sleep later
Moms and dads may not have to get up so early to take the tykes to school (because of holidays), so they can sleep later. And staying in bed longer means, well you get the point. Of course, there seems to be more liquor around too and liquor and nookie go together. BUT I must stress this last nookie scenario should be only for couples who actually know each other. No one-night stand business!

That leads me to the dos and dont's of Christmas nookie. The first don't is to get so liquored up, you share nookie with somebody you don't even know.

    Loose
That's just nasty and loose! Another don't is never 'do it' when there are other family members around. You can't have grandma walking in on you and having a heart attack.

That will surely ruin Christmas for everybody; you can't sing Deck The Halls in the emergency ward. Also don't try to get some every 10 minutes. Fact is, Christmas may actually be more hectic than your job is (what with the decorations and shopping and all). So don't 'hackle' yourself out too much or when you get back to working full-time you will be more droopy than when you left.

And for the dos. Do try to get away from the maddening crowd. I don't mean in the basement, I mean in another part of the country. Also, do try something different. Doesn't have to be risqué, just different from the regular routine. And do make it memorable. It's a special time of year after all.

So there you have it. For the advanced nookie-ites, you probably knew all this before. For the previously uninitiated, consider this my Christmas gift to you. Ho ho ho!
