JLP supporters carrying for medical assistance one of the men shot during the party's annual conference at the National Arena last Sunday.
Unlike any Jamaican political leader, Golding had his moment in late 1995 when a wave much bigger than anything he could ever fathom drove him (against his will?) against the orthodoxies of the time. In the period between his leaving the JLP and the formation of the NDM, he took a trip to the mountaintop to speak with the gods of Pragmatism and Blind Chance.
