Earlier this morning 876radio.com received a report from one of our correspondents that the popular Thursday night event 'Bembe' was brought to an abrupt end at minutes to 2.00am after famed Alliance selectors Foota Hype and Boom Boom accompanied by thugs stormed onto the stage and got into a fracas with resident disc jock Richie Feelings.
Checks with patrons revealed that a plethora of Kartel was being played and not enough Mavado. Speculations are that the Gully Gad was in the house, however we are yet to get confirmation on that report.
According to our correspondent the disgruntled Foota Hype stormed onto the staged and disconnected the microphone before declaring that Alliance govern Kingston 8 and No Kartel should be played in the confines of that zone, nor does he care about the presence of the media.
It's also understood that Richie Feelings and his significant other were roughed up by thugs allegedly aligned to the Alliance, while trying to gathering their possessions to leave the premises.
In the midst of the melee Foota proceeded to play a Mavado track before handing over the proceedings to Boom Boom, who after a series of trash talking statements aimed at Richie Feelings and the Portmore Empire played a set laced with Mavado.
Efforts by our team to contact Foota Hype, Boom Boom and Richie Feelings for a comments proved futile but we will keep you posted as the saga unfolds.
Richie Feelings and Boom Boom have been at odds for some time now.
