Where is the corruption angle ?
Where is the benefit to the owner of the school that is NOT in the interest of the country or contrary to previously stated development objectives ?
Where is the unnecessary expenditure or over expenditure ?

What conceivable advice could the Ministry of Education be expected to provide - that the school should be allowed to close?"
What was the total exposure Hydel had?
Were there any other buyers for the property?
If, no! - The 'deal'/bargin any investor would have offered?
If yes! - what was the offer on the table?
Are there any other pieces of real property across JA that are included in future government development plans?
If yes! - Has this JLP government come to the rescue of those owners?
If yes! - Copies...details on those transactions?
If no! - Why has the government not come to the aid of those owners?
...and on and on...."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Observer EDITORIAL: Haven't we got the memo as yet?
Haven't we got the memo as yet?
Haven't we got the memo as yet that says the parochial approach to running a country is out and long dead? Or is it? At a time when Jamaica - and the world for that matter - is facing perilous economic straits and panic among the populace over crime, where do we find the time to indulge in petty political point-scoring?
Complete Story ..."Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
