  • Lay it out there! – Davies challenges Shaw

Former Finance Minister Dr. Omar Davies has issued a challenge to Minister of Finance Audley Shaw to table a comprehensive report in Parliament substantiating allegations that the previous administration mismanaged the country's financial affairs.
Dr. Davies issued the challenge on RJR's daily discussion programme Beyond the Headlines on Thursday.

The Government and the Opposition have exchanged charges over which side should be blamed for the country's financial woes.
Dr. Davies said the time has come for Mr. Shaw to present concrete evidence of previous mismanagement.
"I'm willing to stand by whatever I did or whatever the previous administration did so if there are serious charges lets lay them on the table," he said.

On Wednesday, Mr. Shaw fired back at the People's National Party's (PNP) criticism of the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP's) stewardship of the country.
The PNP had given the government a failing grade, stating that it has come up short in managing key areas of the economy.
Mr. Shaw lashed the Opposition, accusing it of playing politics in its assessment of the JLP's response to the likely impact of the international financial crisis

Omar is a really bold fellow. Missing money and nobody don't know where or who. The man must think that management refers to who has the highest score from their econometrics course.
