Greece's Intralot signs 10-year deal in Jamaica

ATHENS, Greece: Greek gaming systems developer and operator Intralot said Monday it has signed a 10-year deal to launch fixed-odds betting operations in Jamaica.
A company statement said Intralot will partner with Jamaican gaming firm Supreme Ventures Limited to open a network of 500 outlets, with an aim to expand to 1,000.
Intralot also said it was committed to buying a 10 percent stake in the partner firm.
The announcement Monday was the latest expansion by the Greek company in the region, following recent deals in Guatemala, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
