  • Double murder in St. Elizabeth linked to Klansman Gang

There is a new development in the probe into Monday's double killing in the community of Park in St. Elizabeth.

Police investigators say Jason Cranston, 30, who was shot and killed along with Sonia Bennett, 45, was a witness in a case against reputed head of the Klansman Gang Tesha Miller.

Mr. Cranston was a resident of Job Lane in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

It is reported that he was told to enter the Witness Protection Programme but declined to participate.

As was reported by RJR News on Tuesday, the police suspect that the attack was a contract killing.

It is reported that the couple was trailed from Kingston to St. Elizabeth where they were killed shortly after they left a business establishment just before 5pm Monday.

Mr. Cranston was hit while sitting in a Suzuki truck while Miss Bennett, who was a passenger, was killed while attempting to flee from her attackers.

Suh Miller gonna walk free? Suspects like these should only speak to their lawyers. They should be held in isolation and no notes/letters should be taken by the lawyers to give to the suspect's family.

Yet Rockman claim the proposed measures nuh support the commish?

What do you really expect the JFJ to do? Make an appeal for the gunmen to stop? Do you want them to declare that they are absolutely against such dastardly acts? Do you want them to appeal to the police force to carry out some speedy investigations?

What exactly do you want the human rights organisations to do?
