The Supreme Court is to issue a ruling Wednesday in the legal battle between the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP's) Michael Stern and the People's National Party's (PNP's) Richard Azan.
Mr. Stern had challenged the election petition filed by Mr. Azan who was defeated in the September General Election.
He claimed it was not properly served.
The court is to rule whether the petition was served in keeping with the Election Petition Act.
The election petition battle between defeated PNP candidate for North Clarendon Horace Dalley and the JLP's Laurie Broderick is also to be heard Wednesday.
Mr. Broderick who defeated Mr. Dalley in last September's General Election has applied to the Supreme Court for an order.
It seeks to dismiss the election petition filed by Mr. Dalley who is seeking to reclaim his seat.
Lawyers for Mr. Broderick contend that the election petition by Mr. Dalley was not properly served.
The lawyers said the particulars of the claim by Mr. Dalley failed to meet the requirements set out in the Election Petition Act.
