    been asking about the MacMillan Report, Roadmap to a Safer Jamaica. Well, the Security Minister was asked why the recommendations of the report wasn't implemented under the new gov't. Well, according to the Minister some are being implemented and he admitted that not all are done at this time.

    Some of what has been implemented that I cannot remember;
    1. Targeting the dons.
    2. Revamping the JCF.
    3. Increasing fund to the security forces
    4. Addressing corruption
    "Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

    Sounds like a plan a police commissioner could have made.
    Jamaica is awashed with guns even though we do not manufacture them.
    The problem with the JCF being a corrupt force is of interest to national security, and our waters being used as shipment routes for guns and drugs should also be of concern.
    All that is known about the ex army guy is he was an intriguing Police commissioner, Minister of National Security is an entirely different matter.
    Bruce may not be appointing people to the position they can be most effective.
