Green light for wind farm
Plans to build Europes largest onshore wind farm in South Lanarkshire have been approved by Scottish ministers.
Scotland is windy as Jamaica is sunny.
My first real look at wind farms was from visiting Scotland a few years ago. Since then, I have taken personal interest in this alternative source of energy.
The magnitude of Scotlands' onshore wind farming is quite amazing from the air. And to know that plans for expansion is approved-- leaves me gobsmacked!
After several visits, I began to look at this technology through a 'Jamaican eye' in terms of 'transfer'. For this reason I re-introduced the topic. (In fact it was Lazie who posted that topic on the Texas business man involvement in wind farming--that prompted me to continue...).
Seems that the approach here on this forum--is the same approach the Jamaican government has on this and other forms of renewable energy.
