This is said with 'straight face'...in light of unemployment rates that must be lowered...expectations for greater economic activity...and future needs of an ever increasing population.
In the light of...from the food we eat, clothes we wear, roofs over our heads, transportation we must use and pleasures we enjoy demanding more and more fuel useage to maintain and increase.
2. We should not drill or open new oil fields or gas fields or coal mines...because it will be 10 years or more before, for example, oil fields drilled now can "come on stream".
This with a straight face even as the candidate speaks of future provision of 'more' in all things for all. ...and the candidates declarations that needed research and development of alternative fuel sources will take 10 -50 years or more to produce anticipated results and or satisfy demands.
US presidential elections...some economists and 'fool-fool' talk?
