    funny thing is although pj was more involved in CARICOM, fidel is more deserving of recognition. i might add that pj perhaps served CARICOM better than he did JA....

      Hhhhmmmmmnnnn! Interesting take! In my opinion, I think PJ does deserve the recognition for his work and contribution to CARICOM. Fidel...I'm leaning on the yes side but let me think about this some more because I have many Cuban friends who have said things to the contrary.

        if those cuban friends are in south florida there will be only one answer.....i'm sure the political ramifications in honouring is not lost on CARICOM
