    Friday, 13 June 2008
RJR News understand that eight customs officers were sent home Friday pending investigations into the under valuation of a luxury vehicle.
The eight, who range from clerical staff to supervisors, are reportedly from several divisions of the customs department.

They were sent home with quarter pay pending the conclusion of investigations into the undervaluation of a Range Rover SUV.
Sources told RJR News that the investigation will also cover the importation of several high end vehicles most of which are brought into the island damaged and severely undervalued.
Sources added that some SUVs were valued as low as J$700,000.
