  • Crime plan by Monday

Minister of National Security Colonel Trevor McMillan said the police will unveil a new crime plan for Jamaica within the next four days.
The current crime wave has pushed the country's murder tally towards 700 will be made public by Monday, putting the Bruce Golding administration under intense pressure for failing to present a plan to deal with the country's worsening crisis.

However, speaking during his monthly radio call in programme on Wednesday, Mr. Golding insisted that the job of developing a national crime plan was not his, but that of the Commissioner of Police.
The Prime Minister said a response plan was something the police had to create without involvement from politicians.

The Tivoli Crime plab seems to be working. Why not just appoint Dudus Coke the Crime Tzar of Kingston?
The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.
