Normality has returned to Air Jamaica following four days of industrial action by ground staff.
The workers agreed to end their go-slow following an emergency meeting Monday involving Air Jamaica's management and trade union officials.
The more than 2,000 employees began their protest on Friday after being informed that the Ministry of Finance would not entertain their request for a salary increase.
Vice President of the National Workers Union (NWU) Granville Valentine said the parties will hold meetings over the next three days to look at possible medium term solutions.
Mr. Valentine warned that although the workers have ended their protest they remain extremely restive.
"What is unfortunate most of all is that the government clearly and repeatedly is denying a group of workers, who are deemed public sector workers an increase even when they signed a MOU on the behalf of public sector workers."
"They are trying to allude to the point that Air Jamaica workers don't fall under the MOU but we believe strongly that the government's approach is insensitive, heartless and they are not thinking of these workers at all," said Mr. Valentine.
