The sad thing is that it seems to have got personal now and I am concerned that Rev wright might lick out again.

I hope this whole thing is worth it for Obama, it has cost him one of his most important relationships.

            Leave that to the experts

He should focussed on getting the presidency and leave the civil rights issues to experts like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson

I would not reccomend that he say anything unless asked and if asked all he should say is something balanced and general. For example, no one whether black or white, rich or poor, male or female should be shot 50 times while unarmed.
The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

I hope we are not saying that Obama is too big for civil rights.

Trust me there is a group of people especially the Irish who back the police in NY as most of the police come from those groups and that what you just said alone will turn them off. They just believe "support the police because their job is hard". Unlike many of us they live in the suburbs and don't have to face the cold hard reality.

Agreed! But civil rights issues are not out of bounds.

I think this pastor is trying to destroy his campaign, the last thing white america wants to hear is that he believes (pastor) Obama shares his views , even if he does.

Obama had to repudiate the man , how dare he believes that he speaks for him even worse thinks for him.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

You are making various assumptions and being vague at best.

Try and be specific... What did Obama know that he is denying knowledge of ?

What evidence do we have of Wrights views ?

It's a pity that a black man has to stay stuff that pleases white people to get to the white house. I guess even Hillary has to say stuff that pleases a certain group, even if she doesn't really believe i.

Well the pastor isn't guilty of making politically correct statements, frankly speaking, I am wondering if Wright would be a better candidate.Like he said, he is a pastor before... and will be after...
The only turn off was when the pastor started acting arrogant, but despite that his words ring true.I will pick a pastor over a politician any day.
Case in point, would Wright had changed his views regarding the gun laws because one can't be elected without the support of NRA?Hillary and Obama did?
What is christian Obama and Hillary's views on abortion again, ..the death penalty?

The media covered those events because they are fully aware there may be controversial statements made by Wright that they could use against Obama.
On the question of allowing casinos to operate leaglly in Ja., the Church was brushed aside by you, because of not doing the very things Wright is doing. Someone is confused, you can't eat your cake and have it too.
