Teen among 11 most wanted

MURRAY. most wanted on list A teenager, 19-year-old Carey Rose, was yesterday listed as one of 11 persons classified as most wanted by the police.
Police said that Rose, also called 'Tyson', is wanted for the murder of Detective Sergeant Edgerton Brown, former bodyguard of ex-prime ministers Portia Simpson Miller and PJ Patterson.
HOLGATE. wanted for murder of man in Tredegar Park Brown was shot and his firearm stolen after he let off a passenger at Sundown Crescent in St Andrew in September last year. The cop's firearm was also stolen.
According to the police, the teenager is known to frequent Dunrobin Avenue, Australia Road, Balcombe Drive, Olympic Way, Sundown Crescent and his Yawcey Place home, all in St Andrew.
BAILEY. wanted for triple murder Police describe Rose as having a 'bleached' face, hands and neck, a straight face, small mouth with black lips. His left ear is pierced twice.
Like all the men on the most wanted list, police say Rose is armed, dangerous and mobile.
At a press conference at the police commissioner's office yesterday, Assistant Commissioner Les Green said the police had earmarked the individuals who were causing the most trouble when selecting the make-up of the most wanted list.
"The most wanted is not the person who kills the most. We have to look at those who are causing the most trouble in some areas," Green said.
The most wanted man on the list is 34-year-old Cedric Murray, also called 'Dogie' and 'Paul Brown' of Norwood in St James.
Murray, the police say, is wanted for the February 2006 triple murder at Felicity Road in St James. He is said to frequent the St James communities of Norwood, Salt Spring, Rose Heights, the Westmoreland capital of Savanna-la-Mar and Coronation Market in Kingston.
Eight of the island's most wanted men are under 30, while no age is listed for Christopher Barrett, also called 'Chicken Back' of Gregory Park, St Catherine. He is described as being 6 feet tall, black complexion, slim build, 'knock-kneed' with funny eyes. He is wanted for murder.
The list is completed by:
. Twenty-year-old Jemmell Holgate - wanted for the murder of Ruel Isaacs, at Tredegar Park in Spanish Town on August 8 last year;
. Ryon Bailey, 20-25, also called 'Rasta' of Gobay in St Catherine - wanted for triple murder in his hometown in November last year;
. Linton Dryden, 29, of Bog Walk, St Catherine - wanted for the killing of two women in Bog Walk in June 2005;
. Lincoln Powell, 25-30, also called 'Harry Dog', of Brook Valley, St Andrew - wanted for the murder of Corporal Dave Daley at Brook Valley a year ago;
. Wilberforce Matterson of Gregory Park, St Catherine - wanted for murder, shooting and robbery;
. Richard Brown Jesus, also called 'Jessie' of Sunlight Street in St Andrew - wanted for the murder of Derrick Lobbon at Ramsay Road in July last year, and shooting with intent;
. Alton Gordon of Broadleaf, Clarendon - wanted for shooting at the police and escaping from the Frankfield Police Station in July last year; and
. Adiff Washington of Milk River, Clarendon - wanted for several counts of shooting and attempted murder.
The authorities have placed a $1-million bounty on each of the wanted men's heads.
