  • Cash Plus willing to be regulated

Cash Plus willing to be regulated Wednesday, 23 January 2008 There is a major development on Wednesday afternoon surrounding the legal battle between Cash Plus Limited and the Financial Services Commission.

Attorneys representing Cash Plus disclosed that their client is prepared to enter into discussions with the regulatory agency with a view to applying to be registered.

Attorney Bert Samuels, who made the submission, indicated that while Cash Plus is willing to go that route they are unable to say what will be required due to Tuesday's announcement by Finance Minister Audley Shaw concerning legislative changes for that sector.

The matter is still underway in the Supreme Court.

Bert Samuels mus either be a good lawyer or well connected. Almost every big case I hear bout lately, his is mentioned. Portia's case versus Bruce, this and another involving the PNP.
