The Supreme Court is to begin hearings into last month's dismissal of the five members of the Public Services Commission, (PSC) on Thursday.
Lawyers representing Opposition Leader Portia Simpson-Miller, are seeking a judicial review of the December 28 firing of the members.
K.D Knight, who is a member of the legal team, said the court will spend the day outlining the procedures for the hearing.
The Government and Opposition have been at odds since Prime Minister Bruce Golding, advised Governor General Professor Kenneth Hall, to dismiss the members of the Commission.
Mr. Golding accused them of gross misconduct.
