Job cuts at the Jamaica Urban Transit Company, (JUTC), and upcoming wage negotiations for Government workers, will top the agenda of a meeting with senior trade union officials Tuesday.
The meeting will involve members of the Monitoring Committee of the Public Sector Memorandum of Understanding, (MOU).
In November, the JUTC attempted to make several positions redundant.
However, it was prevented from doing so after trade unions raised strong objection.
They insisted that the matter first be discussed by the Monitoring Committee.
President of the National Workers Union, Vincent Morrison, says other job cuts in the public sector will also be discussed at the meeting in addition to a number of breaches to the current MOU.
