today i decided mi just can't keep up wid de foolinish... it is 2008 as in two thousand-eight for me... there will be no two thousand-love, two thousand great... i will leave those utterances to the entertainers and those who want to make a 'whatever' of themselves...

suddenly man cant use the number 2 or 8... one, few, three... seven, love nine... this is stupid... mi nah endorse dat... it tek one fool fi mek many...

If you don't have a problem pronouncing it as eight and not (h)eight (hate), then it's no problem. And 2 and 8 are not in the same category!
