Lawks, look what him come to? Four months ago, he was everyone's favourite Jamaican - man of integrity, decency, loyalty, honour. Today, he can be seen as an extortioner and a would-be pugilist who messed up at recent polls.

Others have come back from worse, so there is hope.

Is he a little upset that he wasn't given the commissioner job?

Danvile denies getting physical with Dabdoub

Director of Elections, Danville Walker has refuted claims that he had to be physically restrained during an altercation between himself and Abe Dabdoub.

The incident occurred Wednesday, during a break in the hearing of the dual citizenship case brought by Mr. Dabdoub against the Jamaica Labour Party's West Portland Member of Parliament, Daryl Vaz.

The Director of Elections was being questioned by attorneys representing Mr. Dabdoub, who is seeking to wrest the seat from Mr. Vaz.

Mr. Walker admitted to being extremely upset at Mr Dabdoub's accusation that he was 'political' and used 'ungentlemanly language', but nothing further occurred.

Mr. Walker said that he had absolutely no political bias and was therefore understandably distressed at Mr. Dabdoub's accusation.
